    So- I hired Stenneth Grant and his wonderful team at SGS Catering as the caterer for my 50th birthday bash at my home here in NYC. I hired them with no prior references or recommendations- I followed my instinct to have them based on the fact that he was the first to respond to my inquiry and that he laid out his services and his initial quote in a clear and concise manner. My thoughts on what I wanted for the menu were a quite general Spanish/Carribean/Peruvian theme in which he was able to not only execute sumptuous tasty dishes but was able to tie them all together in a manner that was seamless. My friends and family raved about the food. He is an exceptionally talented chef. His team for the evening- Alyssa (please forgive me If I have misspelled) and Damian were also excellent. Alyssa bartended with great command and knowledge and flexibility with different guests and her cocktails were wonderful. Damian assisted Stenneth with great care and attention to detail. I never had to ask them to do something or to clean up. They were very present, polite, solicitous and professional. And again- the food was SLAMMIN'!!!! They really were a hit and helped to make my turning 50 a very memorable and tasty occasion :-) I recommend Chef Stenneth Grant and SGS Catering wholeheartedly.
    The Chef did an incredible job preparing a delicious menu and not only did he arrive fully prepared - he left my home exactly as he found it.
